Good afternoon: We have gotten some more much needed rain. PTL!!! My wife, Bobbie, along with our daughter, Amber, and I ate lunch at the senior center in Walsenburg one day this last week. We sat with an interesting older lady. She has done some writing and currently writes occasionally for one of the local newspapers. She ask if any of us did any writing. I mentioned that I did some. She went on to ask several more questions. The first was, "when did you start writing?" Two thousand and one, was my quick response. "Why did you start to write?" she queried. I took the conversation in a little different direction at this point. I informed her that writing wasn't my idea but Gods. Looking at me with a quizzical look, she asked. "How do you know that?" Giving her a big smile I asked her a question. "That is a pretty heavy duty story. Are you sure you want to hear it?" "Yes," she immediately replied. So, I told her about the voice (literal) that I had a conversation with on August 7, 2001. For those of you that don't know, on that day, I was told that I was to write what would become known as Pixie Howard: Her Adventures in Faith.
